Desperately Fashioned Steel is a dystopian, post-empire collection of stories rooted in the decay and collapse of American society. The collection consists of anecdotes, tales, misfits, dirges and truths presented in real American locations that are as seemingly exotic as any foreign land, but all too familiar. The stories do not simply narrate futility, they describe a larger story of raw humanity in the face of failure.
